Can anybody suggest a means to obtain an address for one of my WW's lovers? I have a previous address of his and I was wondering if there is any kind of US Postal Service service to request a corrected address.
Ideally I'd want a method that does not reveal that I am the sender nor reveals my postal address. I envisoned creating a fictitious piece of 'junk mail' using a return address of a friend of mine.
The OM doesn't own his house, but rents. While I know the town he lives in, I've been unable to find a precise address using free public records searches.
Thanks for any advice,
- WG

Send a letter to his old address and on the envelope write "POST OFFICE: DO NOT FORWARD - ADDRESS CORRECTION REQUESTED". Then they should return the mail to you with a sticker stating his new address. This will only work if he submitted a change of address form. However, you may be able to skip this and get the info straight from the Post Office, I'm not sure. Call the post office 800 number and ask the steps you should take to get his new address.

I work for the Postal Service...they will not give you his new address...unless it is asked via "official documents" from a court. For all they know (usps)..you could go to his house and do someone harm. NOT SAYING YOU WOULD...don't get me wrong there LOL. But it is postal policy not to give out personal information like that and then be held liable. Also...address correction requested is no longer used...it must read "Address Service Requested"...and I do believe that not just anyone can get that unless your doing some kind of mailing. Don't take that as gospel on that part...I'm just a carrier and I don't handle that part of the job...I just bring ya the good stuff *wink*. If you could find out what street the guy lives on somehow...you "may" be able to call the post office and make up a story about how you are trying to send out a birthday card...and you do not have the box number. Give them the guys name and street and "maybe" someone will help you. Every office is different. Good Luck.
In my case...WH's OW had just bought a house...so I was able to find her info on google...i just love google.
you can only fool this wife...for so long

Thanks for the response. This tells me what to inquire about. Of course I only want the information for good reasons -- like telling my investigator where to look...

google your request and then look up zabasearch.com. Very interesting stuff there. Use it legally and wisely.
