a quick question on how to delete a post.
When I edit and put in "delete post", the words are changed to say something like the post is deleted... but the box is still there for us to see.
I ask this because I was responding to a post and when I finished it said the post I was responding to was deleted. When I checked... it was as if it never existed.
Is this a different feature I am not aware of? Or is this a feature that only the mods have?

Shaden, was it my post? As I had posted to you but then deleted it because my response really wasn't that relevant to the topic at hand I decided after.
The delete function works well in counteracting that trigger finger (as JustJ put it), but may cause some frustration if it is not quick enough that somebody already reads it.

Thanks, BK.
Yes, Weaver. I thought maybe you were some mysterious God-like figure who momentarily took notice of me and then wisked yourself away to straighten out many others. I was in awe.

I'm not positive, but I also think if someone has replyed to your post, it still shows up as post deleted, but if nobody replyed yet, it vanishes.
