recently, my (moved out) wife and I, had some pleasant time together. unfortunately, it was at the expense of our children, as the cause was that we needed to take them to the doctor, to get their shots before starting school <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
she's still not at all minded towards reconciliation at this point. However, we've had some very positive together time, both at the doctors, and at our once-a-week meals-for-the-kids things. I'm hoping that more of this kind of activity, could rebuild up feelings faster than the once a week drill.
I think both of these things worked fairly well, because we had the kids in a semi-enclosed space, so we were kinda "forced" to sit together, and make small talk. As opposed to some other kinds of activities, where we might be both running around separately after the children. ( 3x5yearolds)
Would people have any suggestions for additional activities I could invite my wife to, that potentially have high opportunities for us to be within easy talk range, rather than emphasising separateness?
sitting next to each other, (not facing each other), appears to be a good position for us right now.

Driving seems to be a good idea for you since side by side seems to help.
Can you drive to another town say to go to a zoo, how about a science museum, etc. I know you would have to chase them while you were there, but it could give you some good time together in route.
