I am so sorry for your pain. It is such a double betrayal by your wife and these close friends. It is absolutely essential that all contact be stopped with these so-called friends. This is the consequences of affairs. To expect you to have her continued contact with these people is a slap in the face to you and will entice her to continue cheating in the future. This is an essential component of marriage builders and that is absolutely no contact. It is non negoitiable.
How do you think your wife would be acting if the roles were reversed? This couple continued to screw your wife behind your back and encouraged your wife to lie and betray you and you are expected to allow the friendship to continue with your wife? This is a deal breaker. No consequences to her actions equals no motivation to change. Again do not feel bad about this at all. Yes there will be hardships with the children but ask your wife to look in the mirror and see the person who caused this. It would be the ultimate in humiliation and disrespect to you to allow the friendship to continue. If she continues the friendship then she is putting the priority of her lovers over you. If this is the case then I suggest contacting an attorney.
By the way did you contact these so-called friends and tell them what you thought of them? I wish you luck.

Sounds like it's time to pick up your family and move to another area.
Your M is likely not going to recover once your WW remains in contact with those "friends".

These so-called friends make me sick. They tell you to get over the fact they both were screwing your wife behind your back and they want the friendship to continue and you should work on your marriage. I have no idea how you were not able to not blow up at them. I guarantee you if they were being betrayed behind their back their attitude would be much different. Again as long as your wife remains in contact with them you will not be able to recovery and not be able to trust your wife. Your wife cannot remain in contact with her past lovers. This is a no brainer and it should also be a line in the sand for you. If the roles were reversed your wife would never allow contant contact with a former lover you betrayed her with. What is more important to your wife: your marriage or her friends/lovers. If she picks them over you then it is time to see an attorney to understand your options. You need to make this plain to your wife. No consequences to her actions equals no motivation to change.

The "friends" have to go. You might want to jump over to general questions where there is more traffic.
Your situation happens frequently. When the line is crossed, there needs to be no contact FOREVER, no matter how much it hurts the children. Your friends and your wife made that choice, now it is consequence time.
