I had my mastectomy Thursday at 4 in the afternoon. It was scheduled for 2 but the surgeon had to finish another procedure.
After mapping my lymph system in that part of the body with dye-they were able to remove the main node and biopsy it without taking out others.
There was no cancer in it.
That means-no chemo and no radiation. Thank you so much for all your prayers. This was some very needed good news.
I will be home for awhile recovering. My daughter and church family are going to be keeping an eye on me.
WH called or tm'd our daughter about every hour the day of the surgery. He also showed up at the hospital yesterday about 2 hours before I went home. We were both surprised to see him.
I'm not concerning myself with what any of that means right now. I need to heal, get back to work, and continue to give my kids the homebase they need to launch from.

HOORAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is VERY good news. I've been thinking about you since Thursday. Take your time recovering, and put WH on the back burner. Don't worry, he'll be back - they usually do come back.
My WH came to my work and begged me to take him back - this after 3 and a half years living with the OW.

Prayers are a mighty powerful thing. You are doing good girl, and now you need to rest and get yourself fully recovered. The Lord helped you with this procedure and we all thank him very much.
As far as the WH, take it a day at a time and don't dwell on it. You stated you aren't. Good girl....work on yourself and your family. The Lord loves you very much. Blessings.

What a relief for you and your family to know you don't require further treatment. Your health is your number one priority - the rest will follow. Take care. TT
