I asked for prayer for my marriage last week. Thanks to those of you who prayed and those who posted. I, my pastor, and some of you prayed for my husband to be "broken." It was a valid request, I believe, but now that it's happening I feel horrible. He is breaking and, while he hasn't come out and confessed details to me, he did admit that what he did was "bigger" than anything I did to him. I don't really think I want any more details than that, to be honest.

The problem I'm having is that I'm seeing my prayers and my actions have been completely self-centered. I have been seeing myself as under attack. I have completely blocked out the fact that my husband has been under attack, too. I have not been praying for him like I should have been. I have not been praying for the marriage like I should have been. I have been praying only for myself.

Please join me in praying specifically for my husband. Please pray that in his repentance he will realize that God and his wife still love him and believe in him. Please pray that he will see the enemy and fight hard against him, that he will realize that God has already won the battle, he only needs to put himself under His protection. Please pray that for now, while my husband is weak, I can be strong enough for both of us and that God will work through me, the church, the kids, and anyone else to lead our family back to where it should be.
