Hi. just want to warn everyone. My son and I put 2 musical instruments in the paper to sell. This guy called about the instruments and came out to the house. He said they were for his 2 sons and that one was in junior high and one just starting college. He gave us a money order and we photocopied the money order and the drivers license. I didn't know this, but a money order and a cashiers check can be stopped. Anyways, that was not the problem...we found out today that the money order was fraud and the license was fraud. The police took his cell # that he called us with and said this is probably one of those disposable cells which are hard to trace. I am waiting for a call from the police today or on Monday about this. There is not much they can do...and I am so upset for my son. He needed the money for college.

So everyone, please be careful and be careful of receiving money orders or cashiers checks. The police told me too that if we were to accept cash only, they probably had fake cash too. They feel these guys were professional cons.

I don't know why the Lord allowed this to happen, but must be a learning experience and I wish I could help my son out, but I am financially stressed. Blessings.
