thank you so much for your rewrite of my letter - no, you were not "out of line". I truly appreciate your wise words and insight. I felt such a need to say something to my H but feared it would destroy all we've worked so hard for. (one of the ironies of this open and honest communication concept) I am going to rewrite a letter to him and use many of the thoughts from your draft - it was so much more respectful and non blaming than my attempt when I was feeling so hurt and frustrated I couldn't see straight.
I posted this thank you as a new thread because I wanted to be sure you saw it and know how much I appreciate your taking the time to help me.

I don't believe this, I was just checking if there was anything new on your thread, and a little worried that you did not appreciate my creative writing.
Thank you for responding. My dear Sheba, I would rewrite anything for you. Please look at Simone's thread on page 2 to make sure you like my style.
I'm thinking your H needs 2X4 treatment more than words. He didn't like your anniversary words? I think I could take him on myself. Or maybe I should send my daughter's BBall team...they are tough!
He must have suffered a head injury.
------------------
Faith, Hope, Love Remain,
but the greatest of these is Love.
1 Corinthians 13:13

FHL -
I'm laughing - just picturing a BB team ganging up on him.....I like it!!!!
No, I don't think he did like my message - he ignored me till last nite and that was only cuz I paged him about bill money for this morning.
He does not want to deal with anything about me or marriage.....doesn't want to talk with people who care or love him.
Only wants to deal with fun and being carefree!!!!
I'm a lucky girl!!!!!!
Hugs,
Sheba

Sheba,
These are 13 year olds, scraping, holding on, even if they are past winning...which they were tonight.
I wonder if I am raising my daughters to be tougher. To speak up, not take crap, but still be kind. I hope so. It's up to them to open their own doors, but up to me to make sure there are no doors sealed shut.
After the game I said to my one daughter in the younger team (10), "Honey did you really have to throw that girl across the floor like a frisbee?" She said, Mom, she was twisting my finger and it hurt and I had to get her off...I had no idea she would skid so far."
My oldest daughter, who has the poise and beauty of a ballerina, was like a street fighter in her game. I hope I am preparing them for life.
And can you see the headline? Rapid Bball team, avenging a loss, pummels cop for inappropriate behavior?
I kind of like it.
------------------
Faith, Hope, Love Remain,
but the greatest of these is Love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
