Hi Mimi & Mel! Good to hear from you two.
Asheville, NC was beautiful. The GROVE PARK INN was... WOW....fabulous! If you ever have a chance to stay there, do it! We would probably never have been there had the company not been paying for it. That place is $$$$ expensive.
We did tour the Biltmore and the winery! That was also great!
It was a wonderful trip until the last night when we discovered that our flight home was cancelled. We ended up booking a 6 a.m. flight, so we had to wake up at 2:30 a.m. and check out of the Grove Park at 4 a.m. We flew way out of the way to Cincinnati, Ohio just to get back here in the south, but we finally made it home!!!
I think I'd move there tomorrow. I love that they have no humidity like we do here!

We actually stayed on the 4th floor which is the "spa floor", but I did not get any spa services.
They were soooooooooooo expensive...and I found my favorite shopping place so I spent my spa money there!

We're going to have to check out Grove Park Inn..I guess during the off-season which I'm sure wouldn't be during the fall! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I heard SHOPPING and I'm sitting here wondering what that SHOP could possibly be....... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
