I've felt a lot of anger towards my WH recently. At first, I was just overwhelmed with sadness but now I'm just plain angry at what he has done. He's inflicted so many wounds and I'm mad that he's getting away with so much as he continues to commit adultery. I know God will take care of my WH's sin but it just seems like WH is getting away with murder while I suffer the consequences.

Looking forward to a new chapter since D was finalized on 4/24/07 from WH.

Vent the anger in a healthy fashion (gym, running, walk on beach, yell, hit pillows, cry, etc). Recognizing the seething anger is important.

Venting it in a healthy manner is vital. And while property damage and vandalism is tempting, it is not the most positive way to vent the anger.

Don't keep it bottled in. That's poison that the experts say will manifest itself in a negative way later on.

Definately let it out but as Hardlesson says, in a healthy fashion. If you have a good therapist, go there and let him/her know you want to yell, cry, kick, hit a pillow. Let it out... you will feel good after. And you are going to have to do it several times until it passes.

You're anger is normal and understandable and there is nothing wrong with you. You have been hurt very badly.

Heck, write a letter to your WH but just post it here for us to read. Don't send it to him.. just us. Let it out...

Take care... we are here for you.
