YOu said: I prefer solitude, thinking, reading, writing. I prefer family to empty socialness. I became more deeply rooted in who I am. You and I are SOULMATES!!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
I made it happen..a joyful life..filled with peace, contentment, happiness and fabulocity.

Thanks, Mimi.
Ever noticed that, once WH has moved out, BWs feel this huge pressure to SHOW that they are having a great time? Dancing all night, drinking bubbly out of slippers, surrounded by handsome men, new diet, new dress, etc.? The horror of having an empty Saturday night while you imagine WH and OW wildly having it off? It's just more pressure, pressure, pressure...
I guess there's a place for this ... but it was wonderful when I just didn't care anymore. I prefer a cup of tea and a fuzzy bathrobe and my cats. My idea of a vacation is to tell everyone I'm out of town, turn off the phone, and read the books in my own library that I never got 'round to.

And you know, I think that, in terms of marital recovery, this works better, anyway. When you begin doing what's right for you, you radiate a sense of being comfortable in your own skin. You radiate this just as the A begins to detonate.

This is so true for me too - I just want to be alone, stay at home, paint, sew, snuggle with a cuppa and read my ever growing stack of books. Yes so comfotable in my own skin and my own world.
Then he comes home ... ay there's the rub ...
I agree ...
