Ok. Here's my story. I am 25 and have been married for 5 years. We have 3 little girls. I found out about 5 weeks ago that my husband was having an affair with a friend of ours. I also found out he had been with 2 other women in since January. The other two were purely sexual encounters. And happened a couple of times with each woman. This last affair has been going on since May. There are feelings involved. They let it get to a point where the OW is in love wih my husband and he has very strong feelings for her. The OW was someone he had slept with about 8 years ago before we were married. I had no clue about that until now. The thing that just gets me is that this woman was going through a difficult time in her life when I met her in April. I prayed for her every night. I considered her a friend. I found out that they were meeting up for lunch, etc. She spent alot of time with both of us. I had times when I thought there was something but my husband was filling my head full of lies and convincing me otherwise. My husband says he has had no contact with her for 2 weeks now. It was really hard for him to give up contact with her. And its still hard for me to believe that he isnt talking to her. We have started MC which I think is a big help. I am just having a very hard time releasing my anger and resentment about all of this. I keep it bottled up and I dont know what to do with it. My husband and I talk alot more than we ever used to so I tell him alot how bad this has hurt me. I want her to know the devestation that she has caused me. What would be a good way to release my feelings towards her? I feel like I need to get those feelings out so I can move on with healing my marriage. Also, she lives in our neighborhood, so there are ALOT of triggers that remind me every day of the betrayal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

(((((Ram123))))) - I'm sorry for your circumstance, but I am glad that you found MarriageBuilders. We all know the "alone" feeling, to say nothing of all the other emotions raging through you.
You mentioned praying daily for this OW, so let me ask you a fundamental question if I may. Are you a born again believer? What about your husband?
I'll wait for your answer before saying much more. In the meantime, get yourself a copy of a book called "Torn Asunder" by Dave Carder and a copy of "Surviving An Affair" by Dr. Willard Harley (the founder of this site). Read up to get some understanding of what has been going on and what you might be able to do if you want to remain married to this multiple adulterer (I know that sounds harsh, but what else do you call a married man who sleeps with 3 women other than his wife?).
Keep posting. This is a very turbulent and difficult time for you, so keep communicating with us here, if for no other reason right now than we have all had to deal with infidelity in our lives as a Betrayed Spouse or as a Wayward Spouse who has "learned the hard way."
God bless.
