I recently got in a discussion on another board about these two brothers who ran a business. One of the brothers, the younger one, had a brief affair with the other brother's wife. She then repented and said she would do anything to restore the marriage. Younger brother left and then engaged in a campaign to discredit older brother with parents. Sad.

Anyway, this brings up something of interest.

I have seen a ton of posts on "my husband's (or wife's) bestfriend, brothers, sisters, etc., on various forums.

I have two questions:

1. Anybody else see any of this?
2. In the case of forgiveness, should this extend to the relative - or friend, as the case may be? And yes, I know that may depend on the situation, remorse, etc.

Inquiring minds want to know <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Hello Larry.

I hope that your typing tells of goodness in your life and your M.

I am merely a level 1.5 neophyte here on MB and you pose a question that seems much higher; in the range of 400 or so. There are level 2000 people that may be able to answer better than I.

Larry, does this situation have anything to do with other types of family?

Being that you and I graduated at the same time I’m very familiar with your story.

I don’t see how using the MB principles would be achievable in the situation that you have described. (i.e. NC)

Larry,

I’m curious to know what your opinion about this situation is.
