This is just a thought that has stuck with me since the d-day. Many of my girlfriends are in complete agreement with this saying, "Once a cheater, always a cheater." With this MB principles implemented, this doesn't seem to be true. Your input is appreciated.
Thanks.
Looking forward to a new chapter since D was finalized on 4/24/07 from WH.

The old question - was the affair an aberation of character or is it infact the character of the "cheater"
Different answer for different people.
Obviously if your premise is true, anyone would be mad to stay with their FWS

I was a cheater before we got married.
I was just as vulnerable in our marriage pre-affair as my wife.
Cheating is something Dr. Harley thinks everyone is vulnerable to partaking in given the right circumstances.
With the MB principles, you both CAN protect your marriage from such vulnerability. Of course, the one that's already cheated needs to have A TON of appreciation of the fact that they are PROVEN very vulnerable and should behave above and beyond reproach in the future, however, statistically, the BS is MORE LIKELY, than the WS to be the next one that cheats.
If the WS is a serial cheater...I listened to Dr. Harley on his radio suggest more radical "treatment". He recommends that the only way to keep a serial cheater that wants to recover from cheating again AND make the BS of such serial cheater feel safe is to have the WS quit his job and either work in a totally same sex environment OR work with his spouse. He or she should not be allowed NOR choose to have ANY relationships with the opposite sex besides his spouse.

"agree to disagree" = Used when one wants to reject the objective reality of the situation and hopefully replace it with their own.
