got a new question, its been a little over a week since she said she needed time and space. it took me a while to give it to her, cause i thought i could talk to her about it, but she won't open up. Three of our friends that talked to her told me she is scared, and confused about life. She is having a hard time dealing with the fact that she is 23 and recently diagnosed with ms. They said she feels like she will ruin my life by staying with me, especialy if she ends up in a wheel chair, they tell me not to give up she will come around. I'm still giving her, her space till she wants to talk and then when she does i know i have to be a friend before i could be her man again. But what is the best way to get her to stop thinking she is gonna ruin my life cause she is sick, i haven't ever complained about her sickness and never once took it lightly, i tell her i was proud of her for taking her shots cause i know she doesn't like needles and all. I guess i kinda understand where she is coming from, but i don't get why you push the one closest to you away and take the choice of whether or not i wanna be with her away from me. Any suggestions on what i should do? how much time before i try to talk to her? and how do i get it through to her that i don't care that she is sick, i want to be there for everything forever?

Sanders,

I'm s0rry that y0u are suffering right n0w. But, y0u can't c0ntr0l what an0ther pers0n ch00ses t0 d0.

I w0uld suggest that y0u n0t t0 talk ab0ut y0ur relati0nship w/ her friends. They d0 n0t kn0w m0re than she d0es. And she has t0ld y0u what she wants. S0, that is all y0u can g0 0n.

Take it day by day. D0n't get in t0uch w/ her. I kn0w that it is hard especially if y0u believe that she has made this decisi0n t0 s0me h0w pr0tect y0u fr0m her sickness. Her reas0n is really unimp0rtant. She has made her ch0ice and y0u must accept it. I'm s0rry. I kn0w h0w painful it must be. It is hard t0 accept but it will get easier as time m0ves 0n.
