Hi everyone, the reason I am on this forum is that I need advise and I guess a place to "talk" - any advice is appreciated

We are married 6 years and we are in our late 30's have a 2 year old child, we recently seem to be arguing a lot, today this came to a head over a realatively trivial incident.

I should mention my wife is in the medical field and spends a lot of time at work and also when she is not working does after work activities (dance/ swimming / other) ..she is by no stretch a housewife ...doesn't cook / clean / etc , we have a cleaning lady and I do a lot of the cooking (nothing spectacular) and we order in. I am self employed.

Today around 10.30 after the babies diaper change , my wife said she had a couple of important calls to make - could i look after the baby ...we had planned to go to the local rec centre, so I entertained the little one for an hour and then she wanted to go the time was 11.30 - it was windy and cold as we walked a little way I said "look its 12.30 for the baby (clocks had changed today and baby normally eats at 12.00 )- lets quickly walk around the block rather then spend an hour going to the rec centre and back. She said no "Its something I want to do ) ..exact words . anyway on leaving the rec centre the baby was in a bad mood and I had to carry her all the way home. When we got home we had a rather heated discussion my wife said she was sorry she snapped and me (when she said I want to go) - I said as a result of her decision the baby was upset.

She said she didn't hear what I had said, beacuse I mumbled it and had forgotten clocks had changed, besdies which why did I not feed the baby wheile she was on the phone?

I said he reasoning was pathetic, because of her pig headiness we suffered the consequences and she was looking to blame me - at that we left it

I don't want to ramble on (ooops too late) - but am I being unreasonable - I realise this is one side of the story - but really there isn't another side
