I'm struggling with forgiveness. I go to bed every night praying to God to help me forgive my husband. And I wake up every morning consumed with anger and grief over what he did. I'm trying. I'm praying, but nothing is happening. I don't know how to forgive him.

Please pray for me and my children. I need to make a decision--to leave or to stay. I don't know what to do. I can't go on like this. Please help ...

I know you don't want to hear this, rlt, but you have to give it time. It's only been 6 months. God works on his own time, not ours. You have already prayed, He heard you. Believe me, although you cannot physically see the results, God is working right now. What I think you could do is start thanking Him. I know it sounds crazy, but maybe it'll help you start to see the good that is happening around you instead of the ugliness.

You say you can't take it anymore. Let me repeat something I'm sure you already know -- God does not let us go through something He knows we can't handle. He has faith in you -- start having faith in yourself. Now, you cannot get through this alone; however, you can get through it w/our help & w/God's help. He will pick you up when you feel the lowest. Remember the footprints poem?

Try reading Psalms & Proverbs each day. Today you would start w/Psalm 31 & keep reading till the end skipping every 30th chapter, i.e., 61, 91, 121, till the end of Psalms. Then read Proverbs 31. You read according to what the day is. Tomorrow would be Psalm 1, 31, 61, 91, 121, etc. & Proverbs 1. Psalms is for comfort & Proverbs is for wisdom. After a while, you will feel God's hand touching you. 'K?
