Jim,

It saddly seems like a lot of new people here in the last few days. Feel like you've put in a days work here?

I don't mind though. Told myself if it works out for me then I'll stay around to try to help others when life seems so lost.

I told myself that I wasn't going to post as much. I can't help but try and help newbies if no one has responded to them yet.

Jim,

Your all over these boards givng good advise, but I have not heard an update from you.

How is your wife? Depressed, sad, happy or just living day to day. The day to day part seems to drang on forever I think.

Yes Jim does rock.

I want to try as best I can to help others in bad sitches because I was there not too long ago and people helped me. Some of these people are still here and have been for a long time - hope they stay, but I also hope not another person has to come here.

Best to your sis - what was her name here?

WTF?

Geeze, I'm gone for like 16 hours and everybody flips out.

Yeah, I do try and work at my own marriage every once in a while. Last night we just ordered some pizza, watched some TV and movies on the couch together (WW has had a bad cold all week). Nothing really going on lately. We really haven't even argued since that whole drunken New Years thing. We are actually pretty boring. I get home from the gym and she gets home late, we talk about our day and current events, watch TV, lay together on the couch, and go to bed. I try to show a little more affection, she pushes me away, you know, standard operating procedure.

Today will be 3 weeks since the last contact, so we've actually beaten our previous 20 day record without contact (excuse me if I don't shoot off fireworks to celebrate the occasion), but it's an improvement. I really don't think that there will be any further contact. As to when she breaks like M2L's FWW (that's right, I put the F in there), I'm hoping for V-day, but I realize it will probably be later than that. My WW is an extremely stubborn woman. I hope it doesn't go much longer than V-day because that will have been over 6 months since any SF. It's a good thing I'm pretty much ambidexterous because I don't want one forearm significantly larger than the other.

Anyway, I'm glad to be of some assistance to the people on this board. It's sad to see how common this is that sisters are having to post on this board. I'll try to continue to be of assistance, but things are starting to pick up at work (and they actually pay me to help out there). I'll still check in, but maybe not as much as I have been lately. Good luck to everybody, and I hope all your marriages/partnerships work out for the best.

M2L:
It was the same for me. I would give hug and she would just stand there with her arms down at her side - nothing. You know NC time helps.

Good to hear about the NC getting this far. It should be easier for her as the days go by.

Joke:
Sit on your hand until it goes numb, it feels like someone else. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Keep up the good work Jim

MEDC might not think that is appropriate to tell another BS. He might think we're "flirting."
