Hi there,
I met a wonderful man in the army and we are engaged. For ease, I will keep this short and sweet. We've been dating for 1.5 years and I've known him for 2 (lived around him for 9 months...all the rest is long distance). We are both Christians and have wanted to keep our relationship pure. Because of the long distance, I moved where he was and we slipped up and had sex. I left because of that issue, but through the distance, we decided to get married because we love/miss eachother. However, sometimes I get fearful and scared of marrying him due to what happened (anger....resentment.....questioning his integrity). Is it normal to sometimes feel this way during engagement? I know it is most likely due to our mistake (we were both virgins). Should I proceed with the marriage in light of what happened being that we both want to work it out? If anyone has any sound advice, please let me know. Also, we've been discussing this with a counselor..

One last question....in marrying him, I know that sometimes these feelings will resurface....how do I give them to God? Sometimes it's so hard.

Please help.
