Click the "edit" in the " Personal information, email, password, etc." box.

And where exactly is THAT box???? Please forgive me for being so ignorant but it must be my old age (I am even older than BK !!)
Is there a tutorial for all this stuff somewhere, like how do you get all those whacky Smileys in there???? And that Quote thingy too....

LMAO!!!!

Hold on, Big K, I'll reply to your post in a min.... this 'old guy' needs my help. LOL

I had soooo much trouble w/ this too...

1) Look up and find the gold bar...find where it says "My Home" Click on it.

2) Scroll down the page to where it says..."Main Configuration"....

3) Find where it says "Personal information, email, password, etc."

4) Look all the way to the left and find the box that says "edit" (It has a pencil next to it.) Click on the word "edit"

5) Scroll down till you see "Signature (up to 500 characters). You may use UBBCode in your signature" written above a large box...write your sig line inside it.

I'll write out directions to find smilies in the next post.

NTL,

Instead of writing in the quick reply box, click on either the "quote" box or the "reply" box at the top of the post you're replying to...

Then scroll down till you see the smilies.

Only they're called "Instant Graemlins" here.

Ah - It's not PART of it Marsh - it's a consequence of it. Does that make any more sense? Just like health.

Like a side benefit?

Would you mind if I e-mailed you about this?

What do you mean??? Yours is on the same line and in bold lettering too...I just cut and pasted from your post into my siggy line. I still need to learn some other tricks...
BTW, the UBB code, Graemlins and Font color come up even if you do a "quick reply"...

No, Heartsore's name is underneath his quote in my sig, where as yours is right beside it.

And you're right the smilies and stuff do come up when you preview your post, but not while you're writing it while using the quick reply.

How come you didn't see them before?

Marsh - open your window a little wider!!

Your quote is in bold - takes up more space as well. It's one line on my PC.

LOL

It's opened as big as it can be.

I need a bigger screen.

But, yeah, it must be b/c I have it bolded.

Marsh,

your whole quote is on one line with room to spare...Don't know what you are seeing on your screen.
I really did not pay any attention to any "special effects" ubntil last night. Now I am learning...This it to confusing with going back and forth between more than one board.

I am posting on another board also. That is how I got here. A lady who posts on www.lhj.com posted this link and I thought I would give it a look. My problems are a few years removed and hopefully solved and I just wanted to see how others handled similar situations. Now I am hooked here too.

Looks like all of you are having fun there.

The small group gathering will be this coming Friday. My wife is acting quite normal lately which got me quite surprise. Not sure if she is acting or what but she is trying to spend more time with me. Her heart though... is not totally committed to the marriage yet. I don't expect her to change back to before in an instance. She has not been contacting the OM and the OM has been setting up some strict boundaries. Of course my wife is still thinking about the moments she had with the OM (reading from her email to her friend). At this stage, she is much concerned about her integrity and what was said to the OM about her that has made him react in such a 'cold' way. For me, my heart is going up and down a lot when I think about what my wife has done.
