Ok, I keep wavering. H had EA (with a few kisses) at the end of my pregnancy and shortly after my daughter was born. It had ended by the time I found out. However, they were still friends, but had cut out all of the innapropriate b.s.
That being said.. my biggest struggle was the fact that he had feelings for someone else. Maybe they werent the same kind of feelings that he had for me, but they were feelings nonetheless.. and I just feel like I do not want to continue in a relationship where he had these types of feelings for another person.. bottom line. I have said this since day one and he had continued to tell me that his feelings for her were as a friend and he thought that their friendship was based on the innapropriate, stroking of the ego crap. Well after 2 1/2 months of talking about this, he finally says that he must have had stronger feelings than that and his feelings for he ran deep. He had the desire to take it further (sexually) but could not for moral/ethical reasons.. told him he might as well. At any rate, I know that I should try for our daugthers sake but I just feel that 1)I won't ever let this go 2) I just dont want to be w.someone who could have feelings like this for someone else (maybe that is naive of me to think but its how I feel) and 3)I just feel like the trust is gone.. So I told him tonight that I just feel like I cant do this anymore, and that we just need to get through the holiday's, pay off some bills, etc and than begin the divorce process after the first of the year... I just feel so confused.. anyone else feel like this? I do love him still but just feel like this is too big for me to get through. HELP

I didn’t see any comment on MC. Is this an options for you and H. I understand how hard it is to get over an A Physical or emotional, I told my ex that I would forgive most things, but I can’t forgot or forgive her for cheating on me. Well to make a long story short she did, and it’s over. But also I should say there were other issues concerning this matter with our relationship. Did the OW know that he and you were having a child? If you can find it to forgot and forgive it would be great for your daughter. Did H stop all contact with OW? As for trust, it can make or break a relationship. As to how to get it back, God, I wish I knew. I know trust with my ex is not possible but then again the other issues concerning her. If you and H can work it out, that would be great, but if not think about the long path your daughter and you will be on.
