Take a look at this thread?

http://www.marriagebuilders.com/ubbt/sho...e=0&fpart=1

Do you think e5 stands a chance of recovering his marriage if he remains at his church?

If it was truly a one sided EA, does it mean that he needs to insist on NC?

Marsh,

he said he told the Pastor but apparently the Pastor is not doing anything. If that is the truth indeed, I would run, not walk away from that church just because of my own principles. I will forward a link to that thread to my Pastor and ask him to please read it and comment if he cares to do so. If the Pastor continues to ignore the situation, it should be brought to the attention of his higher ups. The church is supposed to uphold the sanctity of marriage. In answer to your question, if she REALLY wants to carry on with the man, she will find a way to do so even if they leave the church......

Thanks, NTL.

What a mess.

Any idea what denomination he might belong to?

He said his WW fasted for 40 days. And he mentioned something about a "prayer mountain"???? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Not sure about the denomination because Pastor is used by different denaominations. Fasting is pretty common for all Christian denominations I believe, but "prayer mountain" is a new one on me unless it is just a name for a prayer place and not really a mountain. Yeah, it is a mess. You would think the church would stand for its principles...Who cares if it is a young church. That Pastor should be taken to task for his position in the matter.
