Hi ..

I'm posting this on the behalf of my sis who is also going thru a similar crisis.

She suspects her H is having an affair. (They have no children.)

What happened was there was this young girl who was a daughter of a family friend on the H's side. H's aunty requested that Young girl stay with them for awhile while young girl's parents were going thru their own divorce. Her mom had moved out and she had no place else to stay, and was also studying for her exams.

well... needless to say, sis' H was also tutoring her and my sis gut feel felt that something was happening.

This was about 2 mths in progress.. she has now admitted to me, that she thinks he is having an affair. I think my mom and I may had my gut feelings abt this for awhile too.

But her H keeps denying. She is trying to get more proof but it is difficult. Wat she has found out so far was a new ph number he had gotten for young girl today.

And as usual, her H is saying she's sensitive and a bit nuts to think that he had an A.
The girl has since moved out on Thur.

Any tips on what steps my sis shld take? and how best I can support her during this time. She feels ashamed even to tell my mom abt this.. didn't want my mom to worry (esp after the whole fiasco of my WH and financial fallout in my case). But I told her we are family, and mom deserves to know.

If I were her, I would do some sleuthing to find out what is really happening here. Tell her to stop asking her H and start doing some sluething to rule an affair in or out. Put a GPS on his car, tap his phone, place a digital recorder in the car, etc. There is really nothing she can do until she finds out the truth.

If there IS truly an affair, she can tell her mom, but I wouldn't suggest saying anything to anybody [except you] until it has been confirmed. Until that happens, it is just unfounded speculation.

There is no car. Car ownership is exhorbitant here.

She now tells me she has taken "photos" of a letter the girl wrote.. and some SMS (text msgs).

p.s. after she finds out for SURE what is happening, tell her to come here and we can help her with next steps.

Thx for the responses. I have passed the msg to her to ask her to post here herself. Hopefully she does.
