Two things I found that were very helpful in detecting an affair, that were also the most cost effective. One; Spector software, monitoring software that takes snapshots of the computer screen every second you program it to. Go to Spector.com. Second; Wherify GPS phones. These phones were made for children and are designed to locate a child in real time, with software and internet access. Go to Wherify.com. Spector = $60, Wherify = $100 = priceless. I can answer any questions, if there are any. There are many features of these two tools that I can elaborate on, if asked. GPS can be thousands, Wherify was very, very effective. Spector was a life saver. Other tips: watch out for other PO boxes and other cell phones.

I used a $80 voice activated recorder tapped into my home phone line and placed in her care to confirm my WW's A. It worked great!

The only issue I would have with Spector is that I don't think it mails the reports to another computer, does it? That might be difficult if someone doesn't have access to that computer all the time. Actmon does mail the reports so you just have to access the WS' computer ONCE and it operates silently and sends out reports daily. www.actmon.com

Another computer keylogger I read about is webwatcher. This is supposed to allow you to watch the computer activity in REAL TIME from a website. The phone uses GPS tracking as is available for emergency services for tracking any cell phone. I used an old Wheriphone 2 years ago to do what I had to do. Now, the technology is even better. In fact, Wherify's old technology was updated and the devices were also updated. They sent me a free phone. There is service charge like cell phones, but is minimal. Yes, the phone can be placed inside of a car. It's very small. You can track the path and the path taken "bread crumbs." When the subject leaves, you get online and watch where they go, see when they stop, everything!! The most important thing is it's affordable!! Then you can either enforce "no contact" or gather evidence for D-Day.

Spector will send the emails to the email address registered, to any computer, instantly. This is especially useful when you know the other person's name or email address, or the phrases they use. If you then have access to the compter, you can scroll through all events recorded, like a VCR.

I bought it, used it, loved it. There was nothing I could think of to improve this product. At the end of the day, I hit "print."

dv, does it send the LOG of activity, though? One of the big problems is that access to the target computer may not be possible after the keylogger is installed.

it does not send a log of activity, it sends the email the keywords were found in, so make it long. An activity log can only be viewed on the computer installed on, including all screen shots, persons emailed, IMed, websites, EVERYTHING!!

in addition, the keywords can also be found anywhere, it will give you the website

thanks, dveloperz. That means that spector is a good option if you have access to the target computer. If not, eblaster or actmon would probably be the best option because it will silently email the logs with no trace.

hey dv, now if I download this program to my computer at home, and when my WH comes home from overseas, does he actually have to log into the home computer for me to get anything? So in others, if he does not check his email while he is at home, I will not be able to get anything, correct? The reason I am asking is b/c he said that he is not staying at the house...just staying long enough to talk so he may not even check email while here....

I will try to answer some of the questions above. But first, if it were not for Spector, I would have never known of the affair, the Wherify phone was an after thought, to keep honesty and no contact.

Questions answered; Wherify phone, no...no one has to be talking on the phone, it is just the cheapest GPS tracking device I could find, then you could actually use it for something else, after the "storm" has passed, for your kids or nephews. The phone must only be hidden if you don't want them to know that they're being monitored.

Other question; Spector will only monitor the computer it's installed on. eBlaster, I believe is made by the same people. In my position, my spouse was in charge of the $$$$, so I could spend very little without being noticed, getting caught ruins everything. It was easy to skim $160 from the overall funds. Spector saved my sanity, there were no more lies anymore and I knew what to believe and what not to believe, after busting their A$$e@, it was so sweet telling the other spouse, then they wanted the evidence too. To protect my spouse I did not hand it over to them, for fear my spouse could be sued. Spector gave me all the cards. I have actually written them and thanked them.

Oh yeah, lovegod....buy him a laptop for Christmas with it preloaded or go to ssppyy.com. I have no experience with this though.

Well I'll search agin for your tale of hurt, because, so far I haven't seen it? Hmmmmmm.....

Could you point me in the right direction before selling anymore WIFI phones or such.

I found the cell phone to be a remarkable resource. Not only can you look at recent calls, you can go online and register the number then use it to monitor recent calls. Also, not sure if all cell phones have the same ability, but Cingular has a notepad feature. I was able to get the OW voicemail access code because she and my WH used her voicemail as a point of contact. Not only did I get access to her personal vmail box with her password, but she used the same password for her work voicemail as well. Just be prepared to hear your WS leaving love messages.

So exactly how does this justify the existance of
developers,(whoops sp) here.
If you want snopping software/hardware, go to radio shack.
I want to know what developers existance on this forum has to do with anything but sales?????

I have used two different programs. Both are By Spector

Spector pro is a great program if you have access to the computer. You can use a combination of keys to access the program. It grabs all emails, myspace messages, keystrokes. and even snap shots of the screen at time intervals. It is a better program then Eblaster in this regard. It provide more information. it is also invisible to the user.

Eblaster does essentially the same thing as Spector pro but it will email them to an email address. Uses Spector mail server so the user does not know. It does not have screen shots. and the information is sometimes not as good as Spector pro. Myspace emails seem to be limited and sometimes non existant. It does log all keystrokes but sometimes hard to get information out of. The email monitor grabs email from inbound and outboud and forwards them to the email address you suggested. But if you do not have access to the computer. Hidden, password protected, of always in the possesion of the person then Eblaster is the way to go. You do need to get on to install it. One of the bad parts.

Both are invisible to the user. But can be found with some antivirus softwares. Most people do not know what they have found so they don't delete it because it is in the windows directory.

I use both and have found them both useful in there own way. Currently only rely on Eblaster.
