There are some things in our situtation that need attending to that I can't go into detail here. Sorry for the "blanket request" (I always prefer as targeted prayer as possible), but God knows what is going on (probably more than even I), so I'm trying to rally up a prayer posse of sorts. Thanks. Formerly known as brokenbird BH (Me) - 38 WW (Magpie) - 31 Married 2001 (Together 8 years) DS - 13 DD - 5 EA/PA - 9/05-12/05 D-Day - 11/05 Second separation. Working on me. I want to share with you something that I've shared with a couple of my other Christian friends. A couple of nights ago, I told our Lord that my family was under attack, and asked Him to send a legion of His angels to stand guard over us. (OK...maybe asking for a legion was greedy, but at this point I figure go big or go home). I had, and for the most part have had, a sense of calm in the midst of everything that's been going on this last year. I was actually wired that night...so wired, as I finally saw the path layed out before me, that I didn't get to sleep until 3 AM. The thing that occured, just as I was going to sleep, amazed me, and still does. I had this image just pop into my head, as I drifted off to sleep, of an angel standing over me, and the enemy's minions somewhere in the periphary, and it was if the angel was saying "No. Not this one. He is not yours to have." I don't know if it was just my mind playing tricks on me, or my imagination answering my prayer to God. But the comfort that image gave me, and still gives me...it's hard to explain, but it's awesome. Thanks again to everyone for your prayers.
