What's the highest score you've gotten? I'm just curious to know how high the scores can go, and whether or not I did a great job or just got lucky...

This game is driving me nuts. Short trip, too! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Her high score is 3860890

Best word= 13650

longest word = 9letters

It's killing her that she can' get a ten letter word.

Beware this addiction,

Ware the burning tiles.

My highest score was somewhere around 500,000 pts. I play on line with 8-letter limits. I think my highest word was around 1500 pts. I also like Wild Words, or something like that. Another word game w/ western theme. And I like Noah's Ark.

Popcap has Bookworm, too.

I can not turn it on- I can not - I can not - if I do I will never do anything else. Oh my, my fingers are itching to play right now. It is a good thing I am not at home and the internet here is soooo slow.

Boy, have you got THAT right! My score this morning was 3,332,930 and I got my highest scoring word, too--6,240...so she's definitely got me beat. I've never gotten more than an 8-letter word, either. It was my husband's fault we burned up the library, though. I was going to do one word, and he suggested another, which dropped the burning tiles about 4 levels at once and the game was over. Oddly enough, I felt much better about flaming out since I wasn't the one who'd made the choice! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Go to games.yahoo.com. Click on Word Games, and there it is There's a free online game, although I eventually paid $24.95 for my own game in my computer, so I could quit and come back to it without losing the game. Bad idea. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Your wife has my sympathy for her addiction. OK, who am I kidding? My envy, too...a 13,000-point word? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

Before you look it up, Mimi, I have a question for you. How much time do you have to waste? Because that's how much time it will take you.

And more... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Lalalalalalalalalalalala. I can't HEAR you. The person who introduced me to Bookworm tried to tell me about a couple of new games last night. No, and No, and NO!!!!!!!!!!!! I refuse to even consider a passing acquaintance. I'd have to completely withdraw from the human race...<img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Fish Tycoon is fun.

A good screensaver, too.

No, that would not. It would be that idiot, Sharoonie, at work! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> Although I could blame you, if it would make you feel better...

She brought her laptop to work one night, and made me play it instead of TextTwist, which is what I wanted to play. I HATED Bookworm...but like your dad, when he met me and disliked me on the spot, I made the mistake of coming around once more to see if this new acquaintance was really as bad as I thought it was. Voila--history!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Jerry Shinethrough--Tell your wife not to give up (<img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> you can thank me for helping later!). I got a 10-letter word yesterday, although she still beats me in final score and highest-scoring word. The word "trump" was over on one side. I decided to try and turn it into "trumpet." When I got the next 2 letters in place, it occurred to me to try for another "er." Just as I accomplished that, an "s" dropped into the right spot, giving me "trumpeters," and a great sense of achievement. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

I can see I shouldn't even start.

I suspect you don't get many points for one letter words.

Bonnie's Bookstore is more challenging than Bookworm.

;-)

I only peek in to stir up trouble, huh?

I never had to take the Kobayashi Maru test until now. What do you think of my solution?
