Do you remember where you saw the information you referenced, that people who get into online affairs, often have multiple ones going at the same time?

I'd be interested in it either way, whether it is a web reference, or a book.

I'm not sure if it's anything more than anecdotal or not, but I know my wife had the START of several EA's prior to the REAL EA she had online...but nothing concurrent. Since she was 'in love', she was only 'in love' with one person at a time.

I know that 2BNormal had subsequent online EA's...but not concurrent.

There was a poster (I forget her name, but was Winbin or Binwin or something like that) who had multiple online affairs...but hers were far more sexual than emotional in nature from what I recall of the postings.

I know from the numerous "mistells" I used to get in game that it seemed pretty common for people to be involved in inappropriate chat with more than one person...often even at the same exact moment!

I think it depends on the nature of the affair. If it was a romantic one, then its most likely just one affair at a time, but often can be multiple subsequent affairs. If it was 'sexually charged', those are often multiple concurrent partners.

Not based off of any kind of official research...just based off what I've seen here, on other forums, and in game/real life.
