I'm panicking!! I lost my recipes... For the Sweet Potato Casserole .... I made it at Thanksgiving. It was delicious...Children were heard to say.."Mommy, you make the BEST SWEET POTATOES!!" And the Gelatin recipe...the one with whole cranberries . I have the ingredients but didn't get a chance to make this. I was waiting to catch you around here and there you are.... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Here's the Cranberry one...
1 package (6 onces) cherry gelatin
1 1/2 cups of boiling water
1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
1 can (16 ounces) whole-berry cranberry sauce
1 1/2 cups seedless red grapes, halved
1/4 cup chopped pecans
In a large bowl, disolve gelatin in water. Stir in pineapple and cranberry sauce. Refridgerate for 30 mins. Stir in grapes and pecans. Pour into a 2 qt. serving bowl.
Refrigerate.

Sweet potatoes: 3 cups mashed potatoes 1 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 stick butte, melted 1/2 cup evaporated milk 1/2 teaspoon vanilla Combine all ingredients and pour in greased 8x8-inch baking dish Topping: 1/3 cup flour 1/3 cup butter, melted 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup finely chopped pecans Combine ingredients and sprinkle on top of potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Enjoy! ~Marsh PS: I'll keep this bumped up until you reply and let me know you saw it. PPS: Do you like shrimp? wait. grown boys saying "Mommy?" Yeah, I know..but in public it's "MOM"... Except, OS, does say "IT" in front of his new GF. I'm such a "MOMMY", Susan..... My son calls me Mom, all the time, BUT in the last year he has started saying "Daddy". It was different at first because he had always called him Dad, but it is dear.
