My husband and i are newlyweds, 1.5 months of being married and 2.5 months being separated. It started off as him telling me he wasn't happy, leading to me blowing up, arguing all weekend and leaving to my parents at 3am on Sunday morning. During this separtation period, i have tried everything, therapy, getting our friends to talk to him (big mistake) talking to him (always arguing and fighting) marriage counseling (he went 3 times then stopped). I am desperate and want to save my marriage. He is leaving on a trip for a whole week to clear his head, but he has already drawn up divorce papers! Please help <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />!!

Hi and sorry you're here. You may want to repost this in 'emotional needs' or 'general questions 2', as they get a lot more traffic there.

How old are you guys, how long were you together before getting married, and do you have any kids together?

Did he say WHY or WHAT he was unhappy about? You said you guys were always arguing and fighting...about what?

Begin by reading the concepts on this website and understanding what may be missing from the marriage.
You can also get phone counseling from this site, and I've heard they do a great job of getting to the key issues very quickly.
Please start by reading this site. If you can't concentrate on reading, there are CD's and cassettes available. I used those myself.
Remember, you can only change you, not him. This site gives you the tools to become the best spouse you can be, and have the best possible marriage.

It was a marriage that never really started.
