Does anyone know if there is a way to get an up to date call log from verizon wireless? I have the login and password, but they only sned out call logs after the billing cycle. Any idea if I can get one before then?

Thanks
Fred

What I did is get the info off of the computer - but I will tell you this - if I had it to do over again I would not have done it. The reason I had to snoop is because she would not be honest with me. I asked her to see the bill and she was totally against that. So, there was my answer. Sometimes you know what you know without the proof. I found that the more proof I got, the more devestating it was.

Farmass,

I don't know about Verizon. You might try asking at one of the local Verizon stores. I do know that with both Cingular and Alltel you can't see the detail until the bill is generated (2 days after the cycle ends for Alltel, the one I'm currently following). Until the bill is ready all I can see is an estimate of the number of minutes used. You've got to keep good records of what was going on when & where in order to correlate with cell phone calls that may be 30 days old. At least now that my wife has a secret (she thinks) new cell phone 99% of those calls are with the OM, so I don't have to parse a long bill line by line looking for particular numbers (and wondering if I need to check out other numbers).

I have Cingular, and I can see online with my account all calls before my bill even comes out (excluding text), usually its a 3 hour delay before cingular updates online but it is current . make sure your online account is password protected so he can get in and view or know that you are checking up on him.......hummm good luck !

blueyed,

Whoa, just went & checked Cingular. They do have access to the calls now. I sure wish Cingular worked well where I live. That was the reason we switched my WS to Alltel in 2005. It would be SO much easier to know about her calls within 3 hours. Sure wish Alltel would add a feature like that. (Also wish land line service had an option for detailed call info. That would have come in handy.)

My wife found out I was checking her email and phone logs and threatened to sue me - my understanding is that you can be prosecuted for accessing someone else's emails and phone records - even if it is a family computer - does anyone know about this?

I have Sprint/Nextel and I can call the customer care center and they can give you information about your call records. The nice thing about this company is you can check EVERY text messgae that was sent and recieved within the last 7 days. So I sure do keep an eye on this everyday!
