I'm no mod but it deeply offends me when my fellow believers are disrespectful to other posters.

Can we knock it off brothers and sisters?

not in the mood to help things Believer... I kept my mouth shut for more than a few comments from this person. But for you, I will delete.

Don't know if y'all know anything about crack houses. They are usually empty houses where crack addicts go, kind of like flop houses. People on crack will be laying around in a daze. There may be a couple of guys having sex with a woman who has no idea where she is.

And this is what goes on when the crack is good.

Where I come from, telling someone they must be on bad crack is like calling them a mother-F'er. Maybe it is just the difference in where we live.

it's become a figure of speach... yes, i am very familiar with these houses... I have taken many a body... living and dead... from these homes. The people are usually called squatters and enage in many crimes. I can tell you that sex is usually not on their minds...usually... that is unless the sex is being traded for crack. But no real crack addict is giving up his crack for sex. Just my personal experience from these "houses." Now there are LOTS of hookers.... most are men dressed as women that will sell their bodies for whatever the going rate for crack is. I have seen BJ's being handed out (so to speak) for as little as $5 if the suplly of crack is high... and the price is low.
Survey taken on the streets of Philadelphia.

Okay, so you know more than I do about them. Can you answer this? If a long time poster (could be moderator) discounts other's ideas with by saying they must be on bad crack, would you just ignore it?

I'm sorry, MEDC, I may be just stressed out. A cop who our family has been friends with for 20 years was just murdered by a 17 year old gang member crack addict. He was 25, my son's age, just married with a baby.

My "crack bank" is empty.

I am sorry for the trauma in your life. We had one on Christmas Eve too. I obviously feel for any cop killed in the line of duty... it strikes a real chord with me. I am sorry for your loss.
Yes, i would just ignore it. It really has become a figure of speach in our country... sadly! But perhaps right now it would be best for you to get away from any discussion that has a flash point right now.

In response to this... I agree with your "could be..." There is also a lot of hypocrisy that flows here lately in regards to WHO can say WHAT to another poster... but again... perhaps when your wounds are so fresh it is not a great time to be engaging in this "discussion."

M2L - Thanks. Wife's family and the cop's family are wonderful people, and being forgiving and strong.

My whole city is up in arms. The funeral was today, and thousands stood along the route that the procession (police, FD, CHP) took. At last count there was over $200,000. raised for the family.

And (best of all) there is a plan for the whole city to show up at the City Council meeting next week to DEMAND actions to end this problem once and for all.
