to make a very long story short, I divorced my husband of 25 years last year b/c I wanted to have an affair. I have since come to my senses, asked for & received forgiveness from my children and my ex, who I am now trying to reconcile with. We have been "dating" for 8 months now, with very few bumps in the road. He is having a difficult time trusting again, but has been more gracious than I could ever ask. What keeps creeping up from time to time is the fact that he has recurring nightmares about me leaving again with "the" or another man. Although I have reassured him with both my words and behavior, he can't seem to get beyond the fear these dreams instill in his mind. Any thoughts or ideas on what I can do to help?
