Hi all! I am back from my 5 day trip to see gekko in ga.
my first trip to the atlanta area and i must say, I LOVED IT!!!

we are continuing to build on this relationship and continuing to keep communication very open and taking this slowly.... there is no rush for anything. we have both btdt with kids and marriage, so it is not like there is a rush to run down that aisle again right away for either one of us. but we truly do enjoy being with each other. i could not think of a better way to ring in the new year than spending it with those i care about.

there sure is lots to do in the atlanta and surrounding areas. a little something for everyone. i am sure not used to that variety where i am from! so i must say that i enjoyed each day that i was there.

but, it was nice to come home and see my 2 favorite faces as well, my dd and ds. i took my trip during the second half of xmas vaca when they would be with their dad. i got them today and it was great to just give them each a great big old mommy hug.

ah, alas, back to work tomorrow.... grumble grumble

hope everyone had a nice new years!

Sounds like your trip went rather well! Glad you are home safe.

I bet the time went too fast.

I had a terrible time

*eyeroll*

I wish I could say something classy and inspirational, but that just wouldn't be (my) style.
