Ok...looked at H cell phone bill and looks like he may have been up chatting late while on business trips to numerous phone numbers.
How do I find out who these numbers belong to??
I know I can go get a phone card and all and go to a pay phone...but, I am interested in the "bigger" picture here...I need NAMES, Addresses, the works...
I know of Intellus, but never used it before. How does it work?? I cant get too much info from the site..just says purchase info for $14.95 after I do a reverse lookup...is that for ONE report only?? Or is there a way to sign up for numerous searches?? Anyone know what the approx price may be on it?
The majority of these numbers I have found appear to be cell phone numbers...arrgghh! Does Intellus give info on the people w/ these numbers, too??

Owl, I didnt feel you were blowing me off in my previous post...no worries there. I appreciate your responses. I am however a stay at home mom with NO resources...so, hiring people..like a Geek Squad wont work...the purchase would show up on the CC. I do have my own CC, but the limit is small and close to the top. I plan on paying it off this month, so I can free that up and use some for this search company:(
So, I was trying to reach out to anyone patient enough to give me some instructions on how to naviagte this computer...

I don't know the full extent of Intellius. I was only looking for the owner of 1 cell phone number. It cost $14.95 and I got exactly what I needed. Provided names, addresses, etc. Good luck

On the phone numbers...

Don't remember the code, but you know that you can dial a code before dialing a number so that your number doesn't show up on their caller ID, right?

So...do that, and then call posing as a telemarketer...have some non-existent product that you want to sell them...have a company name and even a little 'script' for yourself to go by. Just think about all those obnoxious calls YOU get. Practice a few times before you make your first call. And remember to carefully work in questions that will get you the information you are interested in...man/woman, first name, last name, city/state.

Obviously target those numbers that appear most often on the bill.

Then take that information and do some good "google" searches based on it to see what you can find.

On the computer thing...take some time and go to your local computer store and ask them about some options...explain WHY you want to know what's going on...get their sympathy. And take pen and paper and write down any suggestions. You might even be able to convince someone to look at it for you for free that way. See if there is a neighborhood high school geek who'd be willing to earn $20 from you to take a look at if you need to as well.

I just called the numbers on the phone bill; that's how I got OWs cell/work number and her name. I used Intellus to get other information like her serial marriages, past addresses. I also looked her up on classmates.com and now know her birthday/yr (9 yrs younger than H) and where she graduated from. Also have her address and home phone #. I'm no longer interested in getting more info on her; my husband is the one responsible to protect our marriage...not OW (she's just a HO anyway).

I had the same problems EM,when wh is in the shower, sleeping, had to just take his phone and go through it..look under his speed dial call lists, write down all the numbers, maybe there will be names listed too..my wh used code for contact names... anyway, I think you can pay a higher fee for intellus and get unlimited access so you dont have to pay the 14$ PER number....cheaper than a PI, also you might call a PI and ask them how much they would charge for just looking up phone numbers for you..they have the capability ...at least I think some of them do...that should be cheaper than paying them to follow the wh around at 65$/hr or more...just a thought. and the thing you dial is *67, then the number, it will make you annonymous to the person you are calling, only drawback is some folks can set their phone to ignore anonymous calls etc... the OW used *67 to call here , and it would show anon caller, then wh would know he needed to call her...gag. but I have used it and it does work otherwise... look in your phone book and see what other things you can program your phone to do..
auto call back where availible, caller id etc... good luck,

I've used intellius before with decent success on cell phone numbers.

As far as I know they don't offer a package with multiple searches. Its the 14.95 per search. The do allow you to become a member for a few, but that just gives you something like 10% of each search.

On the cell phone searched they have been hit or miss. Sometimes they turn up nothing. In this case you are not charged. The minimum they will turn up is the name of the person and the cell phone provider. Sometimes they have an address, sometimes not.

Most times if you get the name, you can do the rest of the digging via free services.

Yes, I HATE feeling this "Craziness"!!
It is sucking the life out of me...and I have been presenting now with physical symptoms, so this situation is no longer tolerable. I feel like I will collapse...been to the doc, but they found nothing wrong so far...they mentioned stress...damn, I didnt realize stress can make you feel this bad...I mean, I am physically feeling like I will collapse and die or something...it is pretty bad.
I have a 3 week window of opportunity to unearth the truth....beginning next Wed and I fully intend on finding it all out.
Thank you for all your suggestions. It is really helpful to gain other's thoughts and experiences and hear what has and has not worked for people. It helps me figure out this maze.
I do have one question that noone responded to a while back...I would really like feedback if possible. I know it is irrelevant to this topic and I apologise...but, I am really struggling with it.
H is leaving for his SOLO vacation on Wed...remember, he booked the tickets, made the plans, etc..but failed to mention anything to me or even ask me if it was alright if he did this.
My question is...will it be a huge lovebuster on MY part if I refuse to take him to the airport??
At this moment, I feel like he can walk for all I care...
But, he keeps saying if I did something similar, HE would take me to the airport because he LOVES me and would forgive such an offense...
I think he just cant find a ride.
Anyway...what is your suggestion?? I am REALLY struggling with this decision...Big Time.
