I know it is a good idea to send my H love notes, but why do I still hesitate? I know I have nothing to lose but I'm still afraid of upsetting him. I know by doing nothing, nothing may happen but I am afraid if I do something, he may push for a divorce.
I said in a earlier post I wish I could have a hint as to what is happening to him, but that is almost impossible unless he calls or writes a letter. I'm two hours away and he doesn't see any of our old friends so there is no way for me to find out anything. I guess that is what makes it hard.
I do plan on sending him a love note but now I am afraid to do it very often. I start to think I will do every week, but then I'm afraid that is too much.
His mail is going to her house I don't even know if he gets anything.
I am so tired of living this way. Afraid to do anything and tired of second guessing myself.
The only thing I do know for sure is I love him and want him to come back.
It scares me to think how long this can go on. It already seems like an eternity, and it has only been 6 1/2 months since I found out.
------------------
di
How about starting off with a how are you note instead of a love note. Work up to the love note. Got to get "your foot in the door" first.
How are you doing? I thought I'd write to see if things are going well. Call or write me to let me know. Hope to see you soon
Love you
Something like that, short, not too intrusive, but caring. Worth a shot.

SDS - It IS scary. I send letters each week and the first few scared me to death. Then I found out he enjoyed them and looked forward to getting them. So - I go on. Besides, I get to talk w/ him that way.
Mine aren't really love notes. Letters from home is a more apt description. Newsy, entertaining, concerned, with just a itty bitty love thing in each one. Hasn't come home, but he isn't throwing them away either.
I send mine to his mom's. Any way you could send them somewhere else? Work or something? Just for assurance he would get them and have some privacy to read them.
Go for it. Let him know you care without pushing too hard. IMHO, it sure can't hurt.
Lori

I send email daily to my wife.
(sometimes 2 or three times)
(OM used to do that... probably doesn't now)
I discovered 6 month ago (to the day).
My wife has been out for about 6 weeks...
with her OM(sponge) living in her apartment.
I can't send snail mail or anything regular mail since he will just throw it out!
She rarely responds to the email...
and calls my messages of love "Harassment"...
I will just continue...
The day she gets sick of him...
or he gets sick of her...
she will have an email ready for her!
(I don't want to miss that day!)
Just do it.
If you are ignored...
Know that you are also loved.
Jim
