Hi,

the other day my hubby and I were watching TV. It's a good show that comes every week.
This time they were doing research about how people handle "embarrassing" situations, how to catch lyers and a few more topics.

Well, when it came to how to catch lyers, they suddenly were talking about affairs and how a person involved in an afair can "cover up evidence".
I was shocked...........so was my husband. (xWH)

How can they actually help people involved in affairs????
I find this totally sick and yet I wanted to share a few tips, in order to help BS.

-change clothes after meeting with OP because one definately brings home the smell of OP. Wash yourself completely to get rid of all smells and hide the worn clothing , under the spare tire in the car until they can be washed. (nobody really looks there)
-$$$ should be saved so that BS cannot find them. Affairs are expensive. A great hiding place (if you wear glasses) is to hide the money in your glasses etui. (carefully lift the lining and place the $ underneath the lining)

-Always use a calling card when phoning with OP. No calls on the weekends & holidays and no calls to private phone. (this was not new and I'm sure everyone knows this.)A good place to hide the calling card is under the sunshade of the car. This is possible for most sunshades.
-The gifts that are given from OP (if possible) give them to your BS. (lighters, CD's,) This way they don't have to be hidden and within time, you can take them back for yourself again.

I'm not writting this to help any WS. NO!!!

I'm writting this to help other BS who are in this situation. It might help you to become aware of these little hints and it might help to find some new evidence.

My husbands afair is long-passed. It was 6 years since d-d this year. We've found ourselves again and I'm happy.

But wow, when we were watching this in TV, it really shocked us............

It got me thinking again. In our situation, my husband actually did give me the gifts that he got from OP. There were pretty lighters, chocolate and a little Cowboy hat for the car. (OW actually bought 2, so that he could give one to me)He had one in his car and I had one in mine.
Due to the fact that I never snooped in his car, he hid other little things in the bottom of his Tool Box.
(I found them after d-d, because I started to snoop.)

take care everyone

hugs
bb

Yea but like exposure once we know their tricks....it just takes the fun out any A. LOL!!!

Btw, where do you think I got the tactic where I accused him of smelling stink? LOL!!! I found it effective to keep the WS off balanced and make them wonder so they have less time to wander!!!

That's a very helpful list for those who suspect infidelity! May I add one of my own?

My ex started smoking again when he began his affair with the Omelette, and began brushing his teeth whenever he came home from being with her, to hide the smell of smoke and perhaps erm, other odours.

Beware of minty-fresh breath at odd times of the day!

My husband was talking about wanting to stop smoking during his affair. He was chewing gum all the time........he had piles of gum, chocolate and candies in his car, open for all of us to see.
(all gifts from OW)
He smelled very minty when he came home in the evenings and I found out that he also wanted to hide the smell of garlic when he came from OW after eating with OW.

So he hid one excuse with another. He told everyone that he had stopped smoking and therefore was chewing gum etc. but the true reason was to hide the "foody smells" he was carrying around with him after meals with OW.

He could of easily gotten himself a toothbrush and brushed his teeth!!!!!!

BTW...........he still smokes.

I just wanted to add another one also.

My husband saved xOW number in his cellphone, under a different name. One that was very unspectacular. I never would of suspected anything.......until after d-d.

So other BS's...........look carefully when you snoop the next time.

For me and my WW, it was a change in eating habits. After d-day and my telling her to go NC they just started eating lunch together everyday. So my WW stopped taking her lunch with her to work. Why brownbag it if you can go out with OM :P

Soon after D-day I came accross a Cosmo that someone left at work. One of the top stories was "how to have an office affair". That one went straight into the garbage.
