Just a quick post here to see how many BS's out there lost rapid weight after DDay. It turns out that near-suicidal rage, confusion, depression, and chaos makes for a very effective diet.

Here are my stats:
5'9", male. Was 195lbs, but started losing weight a month before DDay for other reasons. Was around 189lbs on DDay. I dropped to 178lbs within 2 weeks...very little sleeping or eating. I am now 3 months removed from DDay and holding steady at 170lbs.

Anyone else want to share their weight loss "success" stories on the Infidelity Diet?

NS

Yeh - good diet hope to get off it soon :-)

5"11' 210 down to 185 in 4 wks and still going...

Probably helps that I find working out at the gym takes mind off of sitch for few minutes.

Don't think its much good otherwise - lots of stress - little sleep - not much appetite. Coffee keeps me going.

I went the other way by working out. I was 5'7" and 130lbs. I'm now 168 with less body fat! The muscles did not stop FWW from having an EA though.

6' and 170 is UBER-SKINNY! Get on a higher protein diet, and you should get better. Lift weights 2-3 x per week. 12 weeks and you'll put on a good 15 of muscle!

I lost 13 pounds the first week he left. I am now down 23 pounds total and am wearing a size I haven't seen since shortly after I had my first child. AD's also have kept the weight loss going. What a great side effect!

From 174 to 151!!!!!

182 to 160 in about 1.5 months after D-Day. I'm only 5'6-1/2", so I actually should have kept going down to 145-150 (preferably without an A as the reason this time, though <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />).

5+ straight days of the runs with very little food intake was a great way to drop pounds, though I doubt anyone in the medical profession would endorse it as a healthy weight loss method....

When people ask how I have lost weight (and don't know my sitch)...I say just a little stress.

If they know my sitch, I say it is the only silver lining.

If they complain about me being thin and how they can't lose weight, I remind them that I DO NOT recommend my method!!! That there are better plans out there! LOL

I'm 6'2" and was 202 lbs on D-Day. Lost 18 pounds in three weeks. Bottomed out at 173 at 2 months. Stress and distance running to relieve stress caused it.

I'm now up to about 180. My doctor wanted to know what was going on -- I was never overweight to begin with.

Dropped 15 lbs in 30 days, from 208 down to 195.

Currently am 5'11" and 188 lbs.

Heaviest was 230 while working on a very stressfull project that required travel.

The bulk of the weight came off while not eating but still going to the gym 2-3 times per week to burn off the stress.

I've lost 62 pounds since March. I needed to lose it.

Finally in my height/weight range, with normal BMI.

Just have to get out and exercise to tone up.

Still would like to lose about 10 more.

When people ask how I did I tell them I don'tecommend it, but do tell them it' the "infidelity diet"

At least something good came of this nightmare!!!

Started working out.
Back to 160 right now

I do not recommend this diet

I lost 230 pounds.

Yeah, that's about what he weighed.

(Okay, it's an old joke, but a good one).

It was funny, Mulan.

I'm down about 30 pounds, 195 -> 165. I start to climb back up occasionally, but then something else happens to destroy my appetite. I think optimum for me is about 175.

Yes it truly does work - I lost the last stubborn 5 pounds within days it seems. Getting lots of compliments- I tell them my secret is portion control.
