Hello everybody,
I'm in a good mood today...just received early Valentine's flowers from my DW (Yes, I am a man, and yes, I am man enough to receive flowers...although it does feel a little strange..I feel a strange urge to go shopping and form emotional connections via engaging conversation )
Anyway, my DW and I are both interested in attending the MB Weekend seminar. Does anyone have any experience with it? Do you recommend it? Also, we are considering it to be an alternative to the phone counseling, especially given the access to Dr. Harley directly through his private discussion forum. I don't think we can afford both. Which is likely to be of more benefit in your opinion? The seminar with the "follow-up" programs, or direct phone counseling?
Thanks!

We just went to the San Francisco MB Weekend this past January and although we are still fighting an ongoing affair and my WH is unfortunately not doing homework, it is worth it. There is a wealth of information and especially if both parties are willing to go into recovery it is worth every penny...right Mortarman? He and his FWW are on their way into true recovery!
The private forum is a huge plus and there is a phone contact person as well, if you need additional help. Plus, if you ever need to speak to Dr. H directly, you can always call his daily radio program. I think going to the retreat gives you the best of both worlds...the retreat and available counseling through the follow-up program.
So, even though my husband is not doing the follow-up program, I am benefiting by being able to have contact with Dr. H and his staff in navigating my way through his ongoing affair.
Hope this helps!

Thanks DW!
I think we're going to do this (we'll be going to the San Francisco one as well). I can't tell you how excited I am that my FWW was the one to express interest in it.
I sincerely hope things work out for you. All I can do is offer hope based on the turnaround I'm seeing with my FWW. I can't believe where our M is at today compared to how incredibly dark things were in November, so keep at it!
