I'd rather find someone who want to be with me, for me.

Hmmm. Isn't that what the 34 yo "one night stand" wanted, and you were offended that she wanted a relationship after "just one night of sex"?

Instead, you are playing with a bunch of teenagers at heart, Coughlin, wondering why they play games. You are going to get burned (again).

The inconsistencies in your post are too numerous to address, but it is clear that you want the best of both worlds in terms of sex, relationships, etc. When women have sex with you and expect exclusivity, you label them as being desperate and controlling, trying to reel you in. When women you have sex with do not give you exclusivity or affection, you whine about their lack of monogamy. Pretty silly. Until you grow out of that teenage mentality, you are going to struggle.

Coughlin, grow up. If a woman is sleeping with you within the first week, but you two aren’t exclusive, she’s almost definitely playing around with the others. You may think having sex cuts through the BS. The rationale may go something like this: E is a nice girl so she wouldn’t sleep with just anyone. Therefore, if she sleeps with me, she must really like ME! She has had sex with me, therefore I’m in like Flynn. The flaw in the reasoning comes in the beginning. Even a nice girl may view sex as a recreational pastime that has little to do with deep emotions. You could be just another conquest.

Watching you is like watching an after-school special. It’s like you are hankering after the popular high school cheerleader, not because she’s also smart and funny, but because dating her would automatically mean you were hip and part of elite crowd. Of course, the problem is no sooner do you start dating, than you start to see the girl of your dreams is more into maintaining her queen bee status, winning the next game and crafting her college entrance essay than she is into dating you. And instead of becoming part of the cool kids, you find out they just tolerate you.

When you figure out who you are and what you want, and you learn to love yourself, then you’ll find the right woman. And she won’t worry about your age or marital status. Not only will she want to introduce you to her friends, her friends will like you, and you’ll like them.

Meanwhile, if you want the women you date to only have sex with you, don’t date women who have sex within the first week.
