Hey everybody, your faithful companion silentlucidity here, inviting all Plan Bers to come here and mix it up. Everyon is welcome--Plan A, Plan B, in recovery, heading for a breakdown, stop here first. Leave the questions about your sitch for your thread, but come here to vent or talk about your favorite movies or just shoot the poo...

I'll start. Does anybody have a killer recipe for cookies? Any kind, no matter.

What are peoples plans for the weekend? This will be a good time to start getting ideas for how to use your time wisely in Plan B, and for that matter, find new ways to have a little fun. I personally, am pretty boring, I love to watch movies. I have three seasons of Arrested Development to watch. Any other good movies, comedies or romantic comedies, people enjoy?

Let's get something started here, k?

Comedy - I recommend any old Chris Farley movies - Black Sheep, Tommy Boy.

I also recommend the movie Facing The Giants. It really put some things in perspective for me.

This weekend - taking DS6 to a motorcylce race Saturday, then taking both kids to see there g-g-grandmother (WW's side). WW was invited but did not want to go. Her loss.

Divorced on 3/25/2008 but I have primary legal and physical custody of my 2 kids.

Just passing by and wanted to let everyone know that I am now refering to my WW as the "Bio-ILL-logical Mother" of my kids. I think it suits her well

mimi....aren't you from the SOUTH??? Isn't that the only place they actually HAVE soirees?

DO NOT mention Arrested Development. I had to throw out my set of Season 1 DVDs when I read the email that RT's boobs were just like Portia DiRossi's.

OK...so now that that's off the table...I loved to watch 24 on Netflix...kept ordering them one after another and it kept me busy for days. Very distracting...and I think Keifer Sutherland is a hottie.

Clearly I am boring, too.

I can't make cookies because I always eat the chocolate chips before I get around to making the cookies. Ghiardelli bittersweet chocolate chips....yummmmm....

I also have fun with the boys visiting Blockbuster and choosing movies to buy from the 4 for $20 rack. At $5 a pop, who cares? Get whatever, and you never have to return it.

I am going to visit my mom on Sunday. Cross my fingers that it's fun...

I am going to the bookstore (my favorite place) and to Bath and Body Works again. Can't stay away from those two places.

I am also going to make plans for the spring break trip to DC with the boys. What an adventure that will be!!

Definitions of soiree on the Web:

* a party of people assembled in the evening (usually at a private house)

* A party is a social gathering intended primarily for celebration and recreation. While having some things in common with religious and seasonal festivals, the term "party" usually denotes a smaller gathering for a personal, rather than cultural, occasion even when the occasion is simply that of enjoyment.

This is a great idea! What's the dress code?

DD19 and I are going to "Frozen Dead Guy Days" in Nederland Colorado this weekend.

Hard to explain that one so it's best to click the link below.

One of my favorite movies is "She Devil" tacky as it is, it really made me laugh during my darkest hours.

St. Paddy's Day is coming up...everyone make plans! Find a party to attend or plan one for your kids! The person with the best plan wins!!

The deck is stacked: I'm going to Chicago with girlfriends and staying downtown to watch the parade and see the river turned green....

"Jiggy" is too close to "jiggly" so I never liked that word...the image is NOT pretty.

Seriously...I agree...we need ideas for REALISTIC stuff we Plan Bers can do. Keeping in mind kids, financial constraints, etc....

Hey Coach "C",

Any hoop in the plans over the weekend amidst the frozen dead guys? How's the team doing?

This is great! My plans this weekend are pretty bleak, cause the wayward is moving out; that's okay, though, there's always next weekend.

I think I'm going to bake some cookies and put new tunes on my ipod and start chucking stuff out of the house. It can be very therapeutic to clean for me. I'm also going to see about a movie with my DS this weekend, A Matinee Saturday morning would hit the spot, then maybe some lunch.

Again, c'mon people, need some recipes here.

Mimi, you tawdry little minx, you. What a marvelous woman you are!

I found packing WW crap and chucking stuff while blasting a Tower of Power CD to be quite good therapy really.

Ace, No basketball this weekend but a few of the girls are going to enter an adult women's 3 on 3 league and want me to assist them. I have definite strategies for 14 year old girls going up against the "old" women; run their butts off.

Food: If you're like me and don't do sugar, there are some great sugar-free chocolate candies out there. Wal-Mart is like the crack house for sugar-free chocolate (and I mean GOOD stuff that tastes just like Mounds Bars and Nestle's Crunch!)

TV: You can swing from terrific and worthwhile educational stuff on the History Channel and the Biography Channel and several others -

- to Total Trash TV like "The Soup" on E! Network. "The Soup" is drop-dead funny - it's a recap of all the stupid stuff on talk shows and entertainment news.

Other great Trash TV is stuff like "America's Trashiest Weddings" and (if you can stand it) "Cheaters", where real-life WS and OP are followed by PIs and then confronted by the BS with a camera crew.

Movies:
*The Princess Bride*, if you haven't yet given up on True Love

*The Wedding Date* for a jilted-woman-gets-even story.

Any *Star Wars* movie, especially 4, 5 and 6

Any *Star Trek* movie, especially 2-6

All three *Lord of the Rings* films, which must of course be watched in order, if you are in the mood for something deeply moving and heroic - and one of the heroes even turns down another woman to stay true to his love.

I'll be dropping in later with Black Cherry Green Tea (lovely).
