FYI- all I did was MENTION key logger in passing and my H has discovered down-loadable software which can detect a key logger on your computer. Needless to say, I never got one. I just gave up. He'll do whatever he wants anyway.

jlg...I am a novice computer wise, and I got KGB keylogger online...downloaded it, and you can try it for 30days free..only prob is you will get pop-ups frequently...but my WS has even less of a clue about computers so she had no clue. if you pay the $30 bucks...no more pop ups and it is invisible.
it does work ok...this program is hidden..even from the start menu and add or remove list...totally invisible...you have to press contr, alt, shift and the letter k all at the same time and then the prog comes up. it logs every keystroke so you can get email content and passwords...this is very helpful....I think if I had a bit more knowledge and time to play with it, I could get more out of it, but the password to email accounts was enough for me. hope this helps.

I think you can set it up that way if you want to, but I did not, so I get no emails...only the confirmation of purchase and then there is a very long registration # that you have to cut and paste into the program in order to stop the pop ups.. after that no email....but you could set up your own hotmail account for that, couldn't you

Some good ones are SpectorPro and eblaster. SP is for computers to which you have access and eblaster is for computers to which you don't have routine access, such as a work laptop, because it can email you daily reports.
Eblaster will email daily reports and forward all emails. With SpecterPro, you must check the computer to read the reports. It is a good idea to set up an unknown email account in yahoo or hotmail to receive the reports. That way, the WS is unlikely to ever find them.
Both of these programs are undetectable by almost all spyware checkers and anti-virus programs that I know of, but it is a good idea to check it by running the program. If it does detect the keylogger, then program it to ignore it.
Its a good idea to avoid any trial versions, because as fightingback indicated, you will get continual pop ups and which is a dead giveaway. Better to just buy the keylogger and download it.

I think its specific to KGB...really I just wanted a cheap option, didn't really know what I was doing..and fumbled through it...after a week, I got results...passwords, although she kept changing them because I could not keep the info quiet. she never suspected me to be so cagey..she just thought I would call the internet company because the account is in my name, and they would give me the password.....anyhow, i paid the full price after that and still have access to her email account, though I think she uses a third one for convo with OW..and TM's of course.
she doesn't use my computer now that she's moved out.....she knows about the keylogger now..
my only advice is....think long and hard about whether you REALLY want to know all those juicy little details. it is a totally different thing to know your spouse is sleeping with someone than to hear the loving words they say to one another. and those love letters rival anything we ever wrote to one another. its a difficult pill to swallow. and those details will be etched in my mind forever.
