I got a request from a friend.......
[color:"red"] I have an urgent prayer request. Nate, the best friend of a child whose mother works with me, found out today that he has a mass on his right optical nerve and another mass that has spread to his brain. He is having surgery tomorrow, March 16th at Vanderbilt. Please lift Nate up in your prayers tonight and tomorrow. He is around 9 or 10 years old. My co-worker and her son are very shaken as I am sure Nate’s parents and family members are. [/color]
I do not know this child. But, I can imagine how scared those who know and love him must be.

I have a nephew named Nate - It's easy to care.
He'll be in our prayers also.

From my friend, just a few minutes ago...
[color:"blue"]Heard from my friend at around 7:00 pm. Nate’s parents called them around 6:00 pm and told them the surgeon stated they were able to remove both masses. Now they play the wait game to see what the test results say about the masses. He came through the surgery fine and was in recovery. [/color]
