For those who don't know, I'm in a recovered marriage. I just wanted to share something with my fellow believers who are having a really hard time emotionally during all of this. Sometimes you just have to dance.

Even though I'm in a happily recovered marriage, I still deal with life and the pain it sometimes brings. For instance, we just found out that our youngest (unmarried) daughter is expecting her second child (our fourth grandbaby) and that there's a good chance he has spina bifida.

It's at times like these and during those times when my husband and I were separated that it's easy to feel completed dejected, hopeless and lost. There's a song that helped me a lot (and still helps today) called, "This is How We Overcome". I posted the words and a link to a MP3 of it. So the next time you find yourself at your lowest and you're all alone. Crank this song up and start dancing. It'll lift you up when you need it most.

Your light broke through my night,
Re-stored exceeding joy.
Your grace fell like the rain,
And made this desert live.

CHORUS:
You have turned my mourning into dan-cing.
You have turned my sor-row into joy.

Your hand lifted me up,
I stand on higher ground.
Your praise rose in my heart,
And made this valley sing.

BRIDGE:
This is how we overcome.
This is how we overcome.
This is how we overcome.
This is how we overcome.

Thanks for the encouraging post. I see you registered with MB after you recovered.....I'll look through your history so find how you did it. Is there anything not included in your previous posts that indicates what worked for you?

Again, thanks and we'll be praying for your family,

Ace

Thank you for your prayers. How I did it was definitely not the MB way. In fact, I've thought of posting my whole story... horrid detail by detail so that MB pros could chime in and say, this is where you should have... If I had found MB during that time, I am absolutely SURE that my marriage would have recovered WAY sooner than it did. All I can say is that God intervened in a big way... as soon as I figured out to let him (my FWH) go and quit trying to do it MY WAY.

We endured the first 3 D-Days pre MB, too. But I'm sure we would not be in recovery if I had not found MB....we'd be separated or in the process of divorce.

I'd love to read your story.
