He was driving MY old car. We still held the pink slip in our name. We had very recently decided to sign the pink slip over to Son so he could continue to drive it, or, use it as a trade in for something better. Sooooooooooo, for some reason, Son had it in his head that ~we~ were going to provide a replacement vehicle.

We set him straight ... and ~then~ Son asks:
"How much of the down payment are you going to help me out with?"<img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
"Well, Son, use the Honda (sitting in the wreckling yard) as a trade in..."Bwhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
*sigh* .... he persists ... typical Taurus trying to poke people into doing his bidding ...

My husband is a deal-maker ... that's what he does .... negotiates all the darn day .... so Mr Pep is going with Son tomorrow to purchase a new Scion (I think that is Son's choice) .... and inbetween car-sales-rep-push-pull .... Mr Pep is also negotiating some industry deals .... Mr Pep seems to have his cell permanently installed in his ear for the past week ... we have not had "quality time" for awhile .... and the Pepster is getting restless....
Marriage ~~~> the "People Growing Machine" .... I'm grown already !!!! Let's just sit back & rest on our laurels !!!!!!!!!!!! .... not gonna happen!
