I can't remember, but can you do picnics at the Huntington?
How about Descanso Gardens, or the LA Arboretum?
There are also herds of other parks, like Griffith?
I'd be looking for someplace I can drive the Model A 2. Maybe give folks rides (one at a time, un42nately, as it's only got 2 seats, and I got dibs on one).

So I take it, BigK, that there weren't a lot of our little furry friends living in the ML household when you visited Mel?

Griffith Park would be nice also. The Huntington, I don't know for sure, it's probably all right to picnic there. I remember there is a pond at the Huntington, it's full of turtles, they are very friendly and tame. Easy to catch, very pettable, just like cats. Sweet little things. 2long, you bringing that weird car again? That's an odd one.
Melody, FYI, there are bobcats in the hills around Griffith park, don't give them a hard time.

Here's where we went back in 2003 and 2004. San Francisco Metron: http://westfield.com/metreon/I tried to find something like that in LA but it may have another name?!?!?? The food court was the perfect place with lots of stuff for the kids to do even on a budget. L.

Pep I think me hasta agree with ya here, Pep...I don't really wanna cook either. I'd rather just show up...and have fun. But, I'm easy, I'll go with whatever...sounds like a restaurant somewhere in between all of us would be best. But I don't know what that would be, since I have no idea where everyone else is.... Show of hands?????

I think sometimes about all the pain in the world. I hope we can ease that here, even if only a little bit.

I'm 45 min. or so from Universal Studios ~ on the coast, north of Long Beach and a little south of Manhattan Beach.
