I hope you've been reading this site because your H is not rationale. He's in an affair, whether just emotional or not, he's there and not the person you know.
Perhaps you should post on Just Found Out.
Please take advantage of the ideas and help available on the Concepts section of this site, not just in the discussion boards. The Harley's are professionals who can help you understand your situation and get through it (either way).
Also, you probably need a lawyer of your own to protect yourself. Any debts he incurs before either of you have filed, are typically joint debt.
Lawyers prefer to create friction, it means more billable hours for them.
