Sheryl - Hi. Actually, it was a combination cold and mild hangover that wouldn't have been so bad except for the cold. Then I had a cup of instant chili and maintenance turned the heat up too high in the building where I work all at the same time. The combination caused me to overheat, which always gives me a headache, which tends to make me feel sick. This was early afternoon, so I just took off, went home, took some aspirin and headed for bed. Feel much better now, thanks! (Boy, the stories we spin!) Fact also is, I'm cutting WAY back on the drinking and trying not to think so obsessively about W's affair, which is really the root cause of the drinking. It's nive to know you're actually going to be able to get out of bed the next morning and make it in to work (usually I can, but not always!) Thanks anyway for your concern!
--Wex

If there was an icon of a barfing happy face, I would put it up here...
instant chili? It just sounds like vomit in a cup, ya know??
Hope you get to feeling better (from the cold) soon... and I understand about not being yourself during times like these. I've watched my H go from a strong, handsome man to a skinny hurting (though still quite beautiful, though I digress) one.
As you know, time... it takes time...
Take care
------------------
~Sheryl
Marriage: the most important contract you'll ever enter into, and the most sacred.
