But didn't it feel good to find someone in whom you were interested? Sometimes we need just that to carry us over.

Yes, nice to know we're still alive, LOL!

I'm not the designer type either, and have never dated a guy who was, so that would be something new.

Hey, maybe AGG would give you some fashion tips so you can keep up with him!

I think you're on the right track Newly.
Enjoying the moments and not taking it too seriously.

There's something to be said about the manners too!

Who knows, maybe he's not real attached to the the manbag. Maybe you can American-ize him a little and introduce him to the money clip or wallet??

K!

Manbag aside, I can already see the signs that this is not the right person (long term) for me. City-centric NMNK dating a suburban minivan soccer mom? Getting to know someone and seeing some sights is something I'm ready to do for now.

I thought the manbag would really given people something to talk about on here.

Check out Chewbacca with his man bag: http://www.kineda.com/top-10-ultimate-metrosexual-man-bags/

I guess he qualifies as a foreigner <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I, for one, don't want to pick on the manbag because if this guy turns out to be a keeper then I will look shallow for having said, a manbag! ditch him now, before it's too late and he slaps a tool belt on you.

I couldn't view Chewbacca from work _ DENIED.
Nams, I can't see this becoming much because the trek to and from the city is just too much. But, being treated well is a very nice feeling. (Particularly as X refuses to take DD to her last softball game)

You know, it probably isn't so SAD.....maybe BORING.....but, probably not SAD.

Sad is awful things happening.

Boring is nothing awful but nothing exciting. Boring is not sad.....SAD is bad. Boring is ok - not exciting but ok...

But exciting can be bad and sad.

Sad is sick babies and no money for milk and no one to help you and your car blows up and your invalid mother in law moves in for you to nurse her, too.

Boring is the bills paid, a job to go to, and a roof over your head, and no vacation in sight and the cats and the dogs love you anyway. Boring is good!

I found this "letter from God" recently and thought it was appropriate here...

Dear One,

Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone, to have a deep soul relationship with one another, to be loved thoroughly and exclusively, but I say "No." Not until you are satisfied, fulfilled, and content with being alone, with giving yourself totally and unreservedly to Me, will you be ready to have the intensely personal unique relationship that I have planned for you. You will never be united with anyone or anything else, exclusive of any other desires or longings. I want you to stop planning, stop wishing, and allow Me to give you the most thrilling plan existing, one that you cannot imagine. I want you to have the best. Please, allow Me to bring it to you.

You must keep watching Me expecting the greatest things. Keep experiencing the satisfaction that I AM. Keep listening and learning the things that I will tell you. Just wait. That's all. Don't be anxious. Don't worry. Don't look around at the things others have got or that I have given them. Don't look at the things you think you want. Just keep looking up to Me, or you will miss what I want to show you. And then, when you are ready, I will surprise you with a love far more wonderful than any you dream of.

You see, until you are ready and until the one I have for you is ready (I am working even at this moment to have you both ready at the same time), until you are both satisfied exclusively with Me and the life I have prepared for you, you won't be able to experience the love that exemplifies your relationships with Me and thus Perfect Love.

And dear one, I want you to have this most wonderful love. I want to see in the flesh a picture of your relationship with One, and to enjoy materially and concretely the everlasting union of beauty, perfection, and love that I offer you with Myself. Know that I love you utterly ~ believe it and be satisfied.

Love,

God

I have to echo the others and suggest going online. I have met and dated a number of very fine women this way. I was initially skeptical but have been very surprised at the overall quality and character of the women I have met.
