Well, I just got a call from the lawyer...not much is known presently...but I will have some money before Monday and his lawyer is putting something together in writing in regards to the house and as soon as my lawyer gets it they will call me...

I haven't really worried about what was happening...I called the lawyer yesterday asked about any word a little after 9am...called back today after lunch and the para called me about 5 today...

I have no clue what's up with the house and I'm not going to stress myself about it...the info will come when it comes...

I also went to my IC today...I really enjoyed talking with her...I told her I was read that book on sexual healing and it just so happens that she had IT on her shelve...so, next week, I'm bring in the inventory that I took from the book and we're going to discuss that...

SHe said that is a wonderful book to be reading...I got some validation and I really feel comfortable talking with her...

I didn't get to mention how sometimes I feel like I'm really screwed up and then other I feel like I'm really healthy...

I guess as time so on that will get better...of course some of the things that I feel or have felt come to find out "Are Normal." LMAO...

I was explaining that my biggest fear is falling into another abusive R...So we talked about how I thought I could prevent that and after talking about it I felt pretty good about seeing some red flags go up...

I was reading today what a healthy R would look like and it was really funny b/c that was the stuff I was complaining about with STBX...like helping with the kids, doing his fair share, talking things out, etc...

So, my view of what's healthy in that department is pretty on track...

I guess I need to thank you for saying that I'm pretty level headed b/c I've been hearing that alot recently...LOL...well, last two months...that's how long we've been out of the house! LOL

I've gotten pretty comfortable with my life but my IC said that I really need to stay alert during the D becasue there COULD be something that causes STBX to go off...so, she recommended that I stay on my toes...

Oh, this is the IC from the woman's shelter...FYI...LOL...

I've been feeling really good and staying busy...L's still sick, and F's doing pretty good...

Oh, man, just thank you Frog for sticking with me...It's been a rough year but I guess I'm starting to make it out of the tunnel...because there IS light...who would have thought! LMAO

I still hope that I can get a few 2X4 from time to time...LOL

Thanks Sky, it really has been a hard road to travel but thinking back I think the hardest part was actually leaving...gathering the courage and using my anger as a positive force...

I remember the day I went to the shelter and the lady told me that that day was going to be the hardest one...I thought she was crazy...

I was talking to my Spon. today after I got home and while talking to her I figured out that I have been trying to get out for almost two years now...it was probably after STBX started his A...

I had left and came back...so this past time leaving was actually the third time...I was SOOO in denial...

Glad that IC is working out for you. Weren't you anxious about going because of a previous experience?

I think you have a good base for what a healthy R should be, you just need to be able to live it. I know for me, I am anxious about all the changes I have made in myself unraveling at some point because that has been a pattern in my life. I just feel better about where I am now, more so than any other time before. I know it's real this time.

I think you know it's real for you this time also.

HI, E...you're right, I was nervous about goign to an IC...this one's free...LOL...alwaysa plus...and she just for Sexual assault...I saw her before I left the house in March...

Then, took my lawyer's advice and got a private one...I figured since I couldn't afford one that I could use the resources available to me...I go back next Thurs. for lunch...

I agree with you about actually living the ideas and thoughts...

My Spon. was telling me today how proud she was of me...she said in all on the OP that she's sponsored, I'm the first that "REALLY" wanted the help and have worked hard to make alot of changes...

She's so proud of me following through...Today was a really good day!

I was reading Psalm today...I read til Chapter 20 I think...I'm really impressed with what it says about foes and just different things....like Psalms 12:6

When I read seven times refined, I thought about the horrible things that has happened to me and there have been six, so I was thinking that this is going to be my seven time refined...I'll get it right this time with his help b/c this is what he's promised...

Actually the whole Psalms 12 was good for me...I mean there were so many good ones...really great for BS...

Good Morning! well, it's going to be an interesting day. I had to make Mr. L a Dr. appt. today...still running a high temp., heads hurting, and him throat is bumpy...LOL

So, I'll be out of the office for a little while...downfall in not having two parents working together...I'm suppose to be running the show this morning at work...only one here except for my sales guys and they have appts. this morning...so I talked to my boss who's leaving to go out of town and I'm just going to have to transfer the call to our service...

At least I can say that in the past I could call STBX and ask him to do it, he was always looking for an excuse not to go to work...instead of taking an hour or so off he would have taken the whole day...

My sitter only takes care of my kids, L during the day and F in the afternoons, she's more like a grandma to them...

Been taking care of F since he was three months old...L, all of his life...I'm very blessed to have her...I take care of her and she takes care of me! Thank YOU GOD!

Her son Beau is always hitting on me...today he told me that he would give me a rose this afternoon...he gave me one the other day...Beau lives with her, he has some mental problems, like my uncle did that just passed on...

My uncle and I were more like brother and sister, so I can relate to Beau, who's like a 5th grader in his mind just able to use curse words! LMAO HE's HUGE, talk about a great bodyguard! Probably 6'4", 300 lbs... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

He's forever flirting with me...especially last year after he found out about STBX's A, he told me to tell STBX on several occasions that he was going to bring me to dinner...

Of course, I don't promote anything with him...he's really good with the kids...L bet him in playing pool the other day...LOL...it was so funny to hear the two of them pick on each other and Beau is forever giving L a few dollars...

So, needless to say, having this family in my life has been a really blessing...

Well, L's got Tonsillitis...poor baby...I'll get him taken care of...and Mom's lost a few pounds...how exciting!

Of course, most Dr. office scales are 5 pounds more than your scale at the house and since I haven't been on a scale in two months, I'm just happy to know that I am losing some of the weight that I put on this past year...
