I wanted to add one night after I returned from work, he began a conversation about one of his music buddies who is married also. His Buddy I'll call F says for 20 years he's been taking vacations alone because his wife doesn't like to travel. H says Oh my wife likes to travel. So then H says to me, well you know his wife goes out all the time with friends, (insinuating I don't but I should). All the while I'm getting angrier and angrier. He said his point was that I thought it was weird that F travels alone on vacations each year. Then he said well I told F that you like to go on vacation. IT's nice his wife goes out a lot (insinuating again I should go out) so he can play his music with me around. He says it's normal for people to go on vacation without their spouse. SO I said who do you know besides F that goes on vacation without their spouse and he said no one. He added that his ex-wife wouldn't have cared. Of course, did he ever think of why they are divorced! Then I said if it's so normal to go on vacation without your spouse why does F go alone every year, evidently their are no men that want to go with him to these music festivals and maybe would rather be with their wives. This entire conversation put me over the edge. He was insinuating I don't go out with friends (which I do) and he was insinuating he needs to go on vacation with F because F put the bug in his ear. I feel my H is being childish and F is the cause of some of this trouble here. I resented him insinuating I should be like F's wife and not care about what he does and when. F evidiently said my wife wouldn't care if I played every night, which is a sore spot. I feel like these guys are acting like teenagers and having "peer pressure" here. F by the way is 67 years old and H is 53. I found the whole conversation insulting at the very least. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> What does anyone else think that H is trying to tell me? I figured it was he wants more time with the guys to play and wants to be able to do what he wants, when he wants.
